I object to this planning application because it: 1. Will not provide sufficient parking for the number of residential properties proposed 2. Will remove access to Waitrose and the town centre for disabled residents 3. Will be incredibly disruptive for several years posing a high risk to businesses in the town centre, causing them significant commercial disadvantage 4. Does not deliver the affordable housing that is needed to help young people stay in the town 5. Does nothing to create jobs or opportunities for the people of Buxton that building space for creative, independent retail, or environmental businesses might 6. Undermines the heritage look and feel of the town, undermining tourism and thereby the local economy.
