The planning application as it stands are not at all in keeping with the character of the local area and will be detrimental to the character of the surrounding buildings and area. Additionally, the infrastructure in the immediate vicinity is not capable of supporting the likely increase in road traffic. As someone who works in Buxton and in the process of purchasing a home in the area and therefore invested in both the prosperity and preservation of the town centre, this development is likely to have an overall detrimental impact to Buxton and it's residents.
