Buxton is a Spa town and all the buildings have to be in keeping with the history and look of the town.This does not and it looks more like Manchester and not fit for a small spa town.The plans show that there will be more flats built than was first put forward and shown at the consultations for the public.These will not be affordable , will take most of the parking away as each flat will need one parking space. Quite a few shops will be knocked down when we should be encouraging more shops to come,and healthy trees felled and this is unacceptable.All the consultations made by this company meant nothing as they have changed from around 200 flats to 300.Wanting to have this building going on for 5 years which will probably mean 7 years or more and will ruin Buxton.There is no reason for this monstrosity to be built here especially when many shops have had to put signage that relates to the look of this historic town.This is not,one lift which will break, steps everywhere, and the little bit of parking that is left, no body coming into Buxton, so it will break the town.This will be a blot on the landscape,the design is terrible.They will have to sell some of the flats before they can carry on to the next phase.This will be an eyesore, the design is not fit for Buxton, 90 per cent of the parking gone, if you want Buxton to die this is the right way to go
