This development does not take into account the required parking spaces and additional features required for such a development without it being detrimental to the existing community and new expected residents or visitors. The town relies on tourists and there is poor public transportation links in existence and cars and coach spaces must be protected and increased not decreased. This development does not take this into account with statistics to back up the decisions being made. Buxton is a tourist destination and any new development should be sympathetic in design and in keeping with surrounding buildings and area. This development does not meet that criteria in any way. The history of the town should be reflected and preserved. This development will not support local people in terms of housing opportunities or increase in footfall for local businesses and will likely result in degradation of the town and not improvement.
