I object to the above Buxton Centre planning proposals:- The origonal brief was for 75 residental units (approximately 100 people), the later application is now for many more units (up to 880 people!..an extra village?) - with seemingly NO extra facilities for this influx. Vehicle parking :- proposed VASTLY reduced, surely innsufficient for 800+ extra residents. Also with the town topogrophy, especially difficult for purchases transfer to reduced parking facilities, particularly regarding disabled facilities.. offsite - NOT onsite, adjacent? Lots of traffic will then 'be cruising about', searching for parking, causing much congestion, affecting other normal residential parking PLUS affecting all 'LOCAL'public transport, especially with the inconsistent weather experienced locally. There are 60+ other businesses adjacent to this development that will be much affected during the THREE year development/disruption, surely causing loss of footfall and economic effect,especially from tourists, to a noted 'Georgian Spa town', second only to Bath? The historical architecture is definately NOT in keeping with Buxton,s approaches and especially centrally - a notable reason for tourist visitors, GLOBALLY and UK - from my global/uk friends experiences. More suitable infrastructure, easy parking, better local facilities = more wealth locally? ... and ONLY 1x train per hour to Manchester (suberbs) - NONE, to Sheffield/Derby/..Midlands, connectivity?..
