Who designed this? It's not in keeping with the local heritage of the town at all. Why is it a generic building all glass no design. Buxton should be the spa town to visit. Why no spa resort like bath - compete with bath with what works there Why is the main street not brought back to the historical shop fronts? Where are all the shops that Buxton needs? Buxton vitally needs regeneration in the town centre but housing is not the answer, between all the houses already built and the future ones planned we Don't need any in the centre. We need shops alot of shops, a few bars/restaurants, entertainment such and bowling and cinema crazy golf etc The main street needs a complete overhaul and back to historical look. People come to Buxton for the history and the fact it's a spa town don't forget that in the plans and have Buxton look like everywhere else. I'm not against building but let's get it right. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity don't mess it up. [Page 2]
