I object to this development due the the negative impact this will have on tourism in the town, the impact this will have on the aesthetic of the town, and the lack of thought that this development has on impact on infrastructure such as roads, health services as well as public services. This development is about lining the pockets of business people and developers, and not about sustaining the long term future of the beautiful spa town of Buxton. This will completely change the make up of the town centre and lead to Buxton becoming just another ghost town like so many other towns in the wider locality. The people making the decisions are influenced by financial gain and not by maintain the rich history that Buxton holds.
