All for the redevelopment of shops and community spaces. But'no more housing is needed in Buxton. We don't have the medical or educational services to support the current population, let alone more. Also, the flats won't be offered to local young families. They'll be given to people who don't directly pay for them, therefore won't look after them. Probably from out of town too. It's happened in the flats on the new estates in Harpur hill and it will happen down there. Why should people from towns and cities 20 miles away benefit from our money without contributing themselves. It's not fair.
