The proposal to redevelop Springs shopping centre is far too extreme, the town cannot cope with more traffic, there is no way to accommodate the parking that would be required as well as the general through traffic that may potentially be entering and the town. I do not believe the town can accommodate the potential increase in residents to the area of Spring Gardens, again the potential traffic and parking requirements couldn't possibly be achieved, the town doesn't have the structure or facilities to accommodate that any new residents, doctors surgeries have closed recently, it is very difficult to get a GP or dentist appointment now, without 800 new residents also trying to get in......Buxton is a small market town, it has a lot of history a lot of amazing buildings, we have the opera house, the Dome, the pavilion Gardens, the Grove Hotel......its a beautiful quaint town, which will be ruined by a development such as this planned proposal. I am confused at the moment by some of the councils decision making.....not much of it seems to be to benefit the town of Buxton.....rather to make money for big corporations......
