This application will increase greatly the amount of residential and commercial accommodation in the town centre. It does not include much, if any, sporting, leisure or community facilities to benefit the total population and especially the young population of the town. At an early stage of the application the number of residential units was, give or take, 75. This has now been increased in stages to, give or take again, 350. Also the proposed parking area is a substantial distance from the rest of the development, which would be a disincentive to residents and visitors alike to visit the new development. I object to the application on these grounds.
