I object on the grounds of character and density and heritage significance. Buxton has many beautiful old buildings, many grade 2 and conservation areas. To put a large modern development right in the centre which is mainly residential flats will ruin the historical character of Buxton. I also object on grounds of parking. 422 spaces will be removed and replaced with far less which won't cater to the needs of locals, visitors and residents of the new development .some of the new parking is dependent on future planning so is not a certainty. The development has ballooned from the initial proposal of regeneration of the town centre to a large residential development all rentals,no affordable housing which only benefits the developers
