I object to this application as the project will result in a vast reduction in much needed disability parking for myself and many other similarly disabled Buxton residents who cannot easily walk to the Springs area and would be unable to carry shopping to the proposed car parking spaces.The proposal greatly increases the residential offer , rather than creating many accessible and retail spaces. Most of the flats are smaller rental properties the residents of which are very likely to need car parking, especially for travel to work as trains are not frequent and take over an hour to get to Manchester. The new buildings proposed are not of a design that is any way complimentary or in keeping with the Town's existing architecture and heritage.
