I most strongly object to this Plan in that Buxton is a victorian/roman town with lovely old buildings and some great history. The new plan will make Buxton far to modern and look full of apartments /flats that look totally out of place which locals cannot afford, opening up the river within the town centre will only create a place for litter/beer cans. The 100million pounds will not meet this costs of this project with the rising price of material etc. and therefore fall onto the tax payer. The time scale in my opinion will probably run into 6/7 years due to not being able to work in Buxton winters. Just as a final footnote you do not mention any pubic toilets within this scheme.
