First of all this plan is a massive over development of a tiny site. What evidence is there that more housing is needed the population is going down not up according to the Council itself. New homes have already been and are being built with another 100 due off Fairfield. The buildings reflect nothing of what Buxton is about. Car parking is a massive issue and well understated by C + C. How on earth are people going to be able to do a shop at Waitrose and get to their car plus local people have access to some free parking. Buxton is a tourist town and we don't have enough parking as it is. There assumption of spaces is flawed on tenant requirements alone as most families have at least two cars not one as public transport is vague at best. I could go on and on with so many flaws in these plans so I am definitely opposed to these plans as they sre not in the interests of the people of Buxton.
