I'd like to register my strong support for this development. The works will not only transform the ugly and out of keeping spring gardens shopping center area providing improved facilities and housing, but also give an enormous boost to the local economy as a result of the works. On completion, the development will enhance Buxton town center making our town an even more attractive place for people to both live and visit. In particular the improved link to the train station and the opening up of the river Wye to provide additional outdoor space is a great idea. Having seen what Capital & Centric have done elsewhere in the area I am confident that they can make an enormous success of this.
