I think the plans for the gardens and environmental areas are a great idea, however, I thought there would be more commercial buildings for work and businesses, rather than so many flats. It looks to me that there are 7 blocks of 5 floor flats that are 1-3 beds. That is a lot of accommodation in a town that already struggles to provide good health care to it's population. If this is to go ahead, we should be looking at creating more dentists and doctors and definitely not be thinking about removing our hospital. On top of that, we still have the problem of Fairfield road being the main entry point for the town. This creates substantial traffic, what is being done to stop this increasing with more residents?
