Greedy private residential land grab on the towns main car park, once again sacrificing infrastructure paid for by tax payers to be extracted by outside private investors. The plans themselves are an eyesore, and while the Springs building isn't amazing to look at either, replacing it with swathes of unsympathetic soviet style social housing blocks (which will ironically cost way more than normal people can afford to rent) is not the answer
