This won't benefit Buxton residents. 1. We already have many empty shops so how are we going to fill more. 2. If we are trying to attract visitors then we need more car parks not less. 3. There is no social housing. 4. The disruption whilst building will hit local businesses and many will not survive, therefore more empty shops. Only the developers will benefit from rental fees, assuming they can attract tenants- Buxton doesn't have the transport to commute to Manchester and there aren't the jobs in Buxton.
