I strongly object to the planning application. I think it will cause a huge disruption to the town, both for local businesses & residents It will put people off visiting the town whilst the work goes ahead and will cause lasting damage to small businesses. It isn't in keeping with our architecture & surroundings which is why the tourists love Buxton. There are too many flats in the application and we don't have enough Doctors, schools, hospitals etc for the residents we have now. The reduction in parking would also have a massive impact on businesses & locals. I don't agree that only half the residents in the new flats would have cars I do agree that Buxton needs a bit of an uplift but I don't think this is the way to do it. We need to make the most of the beautiful buildings we have in the town. I also don't like how the number of flats has risen from the original application
