Objection

This development should not be granted planning. It is entirely unnecessary, the town does not need a development like this which is totally out of character with the rest of the town. What we do need however is a substantial amount of money improving what we already have and greatly enhancing the approaches into the town, especially Fairfield Road and Ashwood Dale. Better traffic management IE one way system to try and ease congestion during busy periods. Provide an entertainment centre at the Saden Lane industrial estate where there is plenty of room. Upgrade the Springs Shopping Centre to attract main stream retailers and independent businesses along with favourable rents and rates. Do the same with Spring Gardens, Cavendish Arcade and the Market Place. There is so much you could do for the town and its people with a 100 million pounds than build a complex that absolutely nobody wants.
