This is a hideous proposal that nobody really wants! Especially the flats, they will ruin the look of this town it's Victorian not new age Manchester,. There will be nowhere to park and if the disabled bays go then it's out of town for shopping where we know we can park. The footfall will decline and more shops will be out of business. Personally I like the shopping area as it is, just tidy it up and get the empty shops advertised and reopened and invest in the market. We have already needlessly lost the art gallery and museum, possibly the town hall. Can't we keep things as they are?
