I object to these plans on the grounds of scale, size and aesthetics. The plan of a soulless, brutalistic style, more in keeping with an industrial city, is not a sensitive development of or in keeping with a town of Georgian architecture, with a unique history of ancient Celtic and Roman origins. Which should be exploited much more. We attract many tourists which will not be encouraged with what seems essentially a housing and private block of flats. We have not been properly consulted and been misled. The amount of flats have increased and the promise of "a community feel" with a library, cinema, museum is not being delivered. Please reconsider.
