I was previously in support of the original plans. Until last night I hadn't a clue how much the submitted plans have changed from the original consultation period. There seems to be little data to support needing so many dwellings and we were led to believe that there would be specific community spaces. The lack of parking is a huge issue for businesses and shoppers and there appears to be little real planning based on data. The access directly off station road is likely to be an issue for pedestrians and traffic trying to move through Buxton.
