I strongly oppose this. Buxton is my hometown I have lived my entire life here. This development will destroy Buxton. The awful design is not right for Buxton, it is not in keeping with Buxton' s unique buildings and heritage. The development would fit an industrial town not Buxton. The lack of parking in close vacinity to the high street would be terrible, I have 3 young children and aging parents, we could not walk long distances . There is very limited public transport from my house and would be very difficult juggling 3 young children plus shopping. I would go to another town instead. This will kill Buxton town centre . The amount of residential properties proposed would vastly over develop the town centre and create lack of parking, doctors, no hospital and schools. The road infrastructure is not sufficient either. Tourists come to Buxton for a victorian spa town not industrial residental buildings. The years of disruption will destroy businesses in Buxton. I strongly oppose this.
