Not as originally consulted / planned Clear conflict of interest with regards to HPBC - they spent money to purchase spring gardens with no plan or expertese to run it. Clearly the only plan was in preparation for this much changed bid. Ridiculous increase in accommodation that the town centre neither needs or can support. Reduced affordable housing goes against what Buxton stands for and exposes HPBC to challenge of being out of touch. Goes against the heritage and feel of the town. Significant reduction in parking will have a big negative impact on the town events and visitors will simply go elsewhere. HPBC talk about extra spaces'ignoring the fact that existing spaces will disappear. Rather calls into question the ability within HPBC to understand a plan and simply count.
