Agree something needs to happen to help the town, but the application is very different to the original proposal with more rental apart ments and less affordable housing. Reduced parking will have affects across the whole town, with people possibly going elsewhere. HPBC surely have a conflict of interest with purchasing Spring Gardens and deciding over the planning process. Need to remember the heritage of the town and it not being city living.
