Dear Bob,

Firstplan act as planning consultants acting on behalf of Waitrose & Partners ('Waitrose'). We have been made aware of the above application, which is of relevance to our client as an anchor tenant in the Springs Shopping Centre. On behalf of our client, we have identified a number of potential matters of concern with the application, which have potential to impact the effective operation of our client's store, particularly in terms of access to, and quantum of, car parking facilities within the redeveloped site. We are currently reviewing these matters in detail, and expect to submit further representations in due course.

In the meantime, I kindly ask that a holding objection is placed on record.

I will be back in touch shortly, but should you require anything further in the meantime, please contact me.
