Spring Gardens planning application The main attraction for visitors to Buxton are the thermal waters most visitors arrive at the bottom of spring gardens if your proposal goes ahead they will be meet with a view of modern buildings not in keeping with the history of the town. Also the proposal of opening up the river is a mistake as during the summer it can smell the river changes colour due to oxides etc and is also subject to flooding as we have experienced over several years. Parking spaces will be reduced as your plans clearly state so will this mean even more cars being forced to park on residential streets making it difficult for residents and emergency services.
