The sad fact that the town has been lied to from the original ideas the applicant presented to the public. It's a disgrace. 74 to 300 plus apartments, pitched roofs to flat, local look stone to concrete, lack of green areas including roof top gardens, lack of parking, inadequate information on road access, constructing buildings that aren't in keeping to the heritage of our beautiful town. If this goes ahead it will destroy local businesses & the tourist trade that the town desperately needs to survive & not become ghost town. Please council don't let Buxton down, do not approve this application.
