I object to this planning application as follows: 1. The scale and density of the proposed apartment blocks constitute over-development in our small market town. 2. The design of the apartment blocks is inappropriate in the context of our Georgian spa town. 3. There has been inadequate consultation and a lack of transparency by HPBC about these plans and significant changes have been made between the C&C public "consultations" and the current planning submission, resulting in a much larger number of residential dwellings than originally proposed. 4. Failure to carry out economic impact assessments on the effect on existing retailers and businesses in the Springs shopping centre and the town centre in general. 5. Loss of the main town centre car park facility would have a catastrophic effect for both residents and visitors to the town.
