The development as set out in this Planning Application is very different from the consultation plans shown to the residents of Buxton last year. The quality of design, and quality of materials to be used is very inferior. The number of residential units has increased from 74 to well over 300, mostly one and two bedroom flats. There is no evidence that there is a demand in Buxton for yet more flats!! And there are not enough parking spaces to support this number of flats , as well as provide parking for visitors to Buxton and residents who wish to shop in the centre. The number of parking spaces will be reduced by at least half. This is our town centre, to be seen by residents every day and by visitors when they come to Buxton. This proposed development is of a boring awful design with no redeeming features. This is just not good enough for a beautiful Spa town.
